The wonderfully feminine and playful fair fashion brand J Label was founded in 2018 by Judith and Janneke. In their previous professions as attorney and lawyer, both Dutch women have committed themselves to justice. Together with their love of fashion, they want to bring about positive change in the fashion industry by founding J Label - without compromising on style.
They carefully select all materials and production facilities together with experts. You make your supply chain completely transparent and want to set an example with it.
Most of their collections are made by Oriënt Fashion, a production facility in New Delhi, India. The factory is GOTS and SA 8000 certified and guarantees secure jobs, fair wages and the promotion of employees. There is also an internal paid training program for women and men from rural areas who want to work in the fashion industry. Oriënt Fashion is also committed to women empowerment and has already received awards for it.
The second factory is called Bravo Tekstil and is located in Turkey. It also bears the GOTS certificate, additionally the BSCI certificate and is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation. For all products we declare the respective place of origin in the description.
